New Feature for Your Cable Service

Time Warner Cable customers who subscribe to HBO or Cinemax will soon have the option to use HBO GO and MAX GO.

What does this mean? Subscribers will be able to access movies, sports, specials, tv series, and more on any computer, iPad, or mobile device. People will even have a Watchlist which bookmarks content for later viewing much like DVR. The only thing Time Warner customers will need to access HBO GO and MAX GO will be their user names and passwords.

Sounds like a great deal to me. I wonder how others feel.

Cable TV HBO

Speaking of HBO. Since the release of HBO Go, the expansion of content has really taken off and  now offers every episode of the HBO series. When mobile apps were released for devices such as iPhone, iPad, and Android, HBO has seen tremendous success. These apps were reported to have been dowloaded more that 4 million times since they were released. So why should they stop there?

Look for the release of connected TVs and game consoles launching in the near future.

HBO has really done a great job at making its content available to all sorts of user devices. Their penetration will continue to bring in the $$.

Upcoming Must See Shows

Must See Show Alert! I’m sure most of you have somewhat of an idea of what you’re going to watch on cable TV this fall. I am really looking forward to a week full of cable TV shows.  One show I think might be worth watching is called Enlightened, premiering Monday, October 10th at 9:30/8:30c on HBO.
